We have been together since May of 2018, our junior year of high school. Through long conversations about The Lord of the Rings and LEGO: Star Wars, we grew close and eventually attended our junior prom together as our first date.

In 2019, we began college on opposite sides of the world, but maintained a long-distance relationship. After the height of the pandemic, we resumed college in Boston. Alex attended Northeastern University, graduated in 2024, and Eleanor attended Boston College where she received her BA in 2023 and her MA in 2025.

Throughout our time in Boston, we've developed a shared love of Dungeons & Dragons, board games, and combat robotics.

We got engaged in December of 2024 after 6 and a half years together. Alex proposed in the Presidio at our favorite high-school hang out spot. Earlier this year, we lost our 12-year-old cat, Dobby, whom Eleanor had had since she was 11. In March of this year, we adopted our two cats, Gojo and Grendel.

We are so excited to start the next chapter of our lives together and can't wait to celebrate with you!
